I am blesses that I have chance to capture Malay Culture Wedding Ceremony. Congratulation to Shaiful and Farah for their hospitality and kindness.

 This is a shortclip that I made for them. I ensure they enjoy their wonderful memories with me.


AKAD NIKAH... involves the bride and groom, the kadi (state-appointed Muslim judge who officiates the ceremony), the wali (the one who gives the girl away in marriage, usually her father), two witnesses, and the (lafaz nikah) marriage vow, which the groom must recite in one breath. More gift trays are exchanged, and unfair as it may seem, the guy will get more than his wife.

 BERSANDING... it is like chinese "YAM SENG" at the restaurant but it depend on the place. The Bride and the Groom will sat on the chair for their parent to give blessing on after that ceremony, they will have a reunion dinner (KENDURI).. like I say "YAM SENG"... after that dinner they will gathering for photo shooting section (my work time)...
